SprinkleBit
Information by Research TrustFinance
Founded in 2011 in San Diego, SprinkleBit began as an educational tool and a realistic stock market simulation game to help beginners learn how to invest without financial risk. The platform evolved into a "social investing" network where users could interact, share insights, and automatically copy the trading strategies of successful investors. To facilitate real-money trading, SprinkleBit partnered with third-party licensed brokers, such as Tradier Brokerage Inc., acting as a technology front-end rather than a direct broker-dealer. In 2018, the company was acquired by the Swedish entity Sprinkle Group S.A., which aimed to integrate its technology into a broader fintech portfolio. The original SprinkleBit platform and app have since been discontinued.
