Sparkasse Hellweg-Lippe is an institution under public law ("Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts") and part of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. It was formed through the merger of Sparkasse SoestWerl and Sparkasse Lippstadt in 2023. As a regional universal bank, its mission is to support the local economy and provide accessible banking services to the population of its business area, which includes the cities and municipalities of Soest, Werl, Lippstadt, Erwitte, and surrounding communities.
