Established in 1966, Southern Cross Credit Union (SCCU) is a customer-owned Authorised Deposit-taking Institution (ADI) with a mission to provide fair and ethical banking services to its members. It has historically focused on serving the Northern Rivers community of New South Wales. In March 2023, Southern Cross Credit Union merged with Regional Australia Bank. While it now operates as a division of the larger entity, it maintains its distinct brand identity, local staff, and branch network, continuing its commitment to community-focused banking.
