Founded in 1935 by a group of teachers from South Division High School in Milwaukee, South Division Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to provide affordable, quality financial services to meet the needs of its members and the community. As a cooperative, it returns profits to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees, distinguishing it from traditional for-profit banks.
