Founded in 1968, the Society of Technical Analysts Limited (STA) is the oldest society of its kind in the world and the United Kingdom's professional body for technical analysts. As a not-for-profit organization, its mission is to promote the theory and practice of technical analysis, set industry standards, and provide world-renowned education and accreditation. The STA offers courses and internationally recognized diplomas to students in over 50 countries and is a member of the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA).
