Established in 2009, the Society for Advancement of Village Economy (SAVE) is a microfinance institution dedicated to the socio-economic empowerment of the rural and semi-urban poor, with a particular focus on women. Initially started as a society, it transformed into a Non-Banking Finance Company - Microfinance Institution (NBFC-MFI) registered with the Reserve Bank of India.
