Founded in 1966, Skibbereen & Bandon Credit Union Limited is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to promote thrift and provide credit at fair and reasonable rates, along with other financial services, to its community. Following a merger with Bandon Credit Union in 2021, it expanded its common bond to serve a wider area in West Cork, offering a range of services including personal loans, mortgages, savings accounts, and current accounts, all with a focus on local community development.
