Sicoob Credirural is a financial cooperative that is part of the Sicoob System, Brazil's largest cooperative financial system. Founded in 1989 in Guaxupé, Minas Gerais, it was initially created to serve rural producers. Over the years, it expanded through the "livre admissão" (free admission) model to offer financial solutions to individuals, companies, and agribusiness entrepreneurs. The cooperative's mission is to connect people to promote financial justice and prosperity, operating on principles of cooperation, community involvement, and providing a wide range of services including accounts, credit, investments, insurance, and payment solutions to its members, who are also the owners of the institution.
