Founded on April 17, 2002, Sicoob Credfaz is a financial cooperative integrated into the Sicoob System (Sistema de Cooperativas de Crédito do Brasil), one of the largest cooperative financial systems in Brazil. As a member-owned institution, its mission is to generate shared financial solutions appropriate to the needs of its members, promoting local economic and social development. It operates like a traditional bank, offering services such as checking accounts, savings, loans, financing, investments, credit cards, insurance, and collection services, but with the cooperative principles of democratic management and returning surplus results to its members.
