Founded in 1991, Sicoob Central Cecresp is a central financial institution that is part of the Sicoob System, one of Brazil's largest cooperative financial systems. As a second-tier cooperative, its primary mission is to provide operational, administrative, technological, and financial support to its member credit unions (first-tier cooperatives) located throughout the state of São Paulo. It acts as a strategic link, standardizing processes, offering a wide range of financial products and services for onward distribution (such as credit, investments, insurance, and payment solutions), and ensuring the stability and growth of the cooperative system in its region.
