Shagua Licai (傻瓜理财, translating to "Fool's Wealth Management" or "Simple Wealth Management") was a P2P online lending platform operated by Shanghai Zhuoyan Investment Management Co., Ltd. Launched in 2014, it aimed to provide financial information and matchmaking services for individual lenders and borrowers in China. The platform attracted users by promising high-yield returns on investments. However, in early 2015, the company collapsed amid a liquidity crisis, becoming unable to process customer withdrawals, which ultimately led to a police investigation and the closure of the platform.
