Originally chartered in 1975 as the Geisinger Employees' Federal Credit Union, Service 1st Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. Its mission is to "build trusted relationships by providing personalized service, valued products and convenience." The credit union offers comprehensive financial services, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services, to individuals and businesses within its designated field of membership. As a cooperative, it returns profits to its members through lower loan rates, higher savings dividends, and improved services.
