Originally chartered in 1931 as the Des Moines Police Officers' Credit Union, the institution expanded over the years to include firefighters and other public service professionals. Now known as Serve Credit Union, its mission is to build trusted relationships with its members to empower their financial success. As a credit union, it offers a full range of banking products, including savings and checking accounts, loans (auto, mortgage, personal), and credit cards, returning profits to members through better rates and lower fees.
