Second Saturday Des Moines is a local chapter of the nationally recognized Second Saturday program, originally established by the non-profit Women’s Institute for Financial Education (WIFE.org). The workshop's mission is to provide education, support, and guidance to women who are considering or going through a divorce. It is run by a team of local professionals, including a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), a family law attorney, and a therapist, who cover the critical legal, financial, and emotional issues that arise during the divorce process to help women move forward with confidence.
