Savedo
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 2014 in Berlin, Germany, Savedo was a fintech company with the mission to break down national barriers in the European savings and investment market. The platform allowed savers, primarily from Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands, to easily open and manage fixed-term deposit accounts at banks in other EU countries, offering more competitive interest rates than were typically available domestically. In 2017, Savedo was acquired by its direct competitor, WeltSparen (a subsidiary of Raisin), and its services and customer base were subsequently integrated into the WeltSparen platform.
