SADC d'Abitibi-Ouest is a community-based, non-profit organization that has been supporting the economic development of the Abitibi-Ouest MRC (Regional County Municipality) for over 35 years. As part of the national network of SADCs and CAEs, it is funded by the Government of Canada through Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. Its mission is to initiate and support sustainable local development projects and to provide financing and specialized consulting services to entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to stimulate job creation and economic diversification within its territory.
