Originally chartered in 1961 to serve the employees of the Research Triangle Institute, RT Federal Credit Union (RTFCU) has grown into a community-chartered financial institution. As a not-for-profit cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. The credit union's mission is to be a trusted financial partner, offering a range of personal banking services including savings and checking accounts, loans (auto, mortgage, personal), and credit cards, with a focus on personalized service and competitive rates for its members in North Carolina's Research Triangle region.
