In 2015, a consortium led by Yunfeng Capital, a private equity firm co-founded by Jack Ma, acquired a controlling stake in Reorient Group. Following the acquisition, the company was officially renamed to Yunfeng Financial Group Limited (YF Fintech) in October 2016 to reflect its new ownership and strategic direction.
