Founded in 1911, Reliance Mutual Insurance Society Limited was a friendly society based in the United Kingdom that provided a range of financial products, including life insurance, savings plans, investments, and pensions. As a mutual organization, it was owned by its policyholders. In 2015, its business was transferred to The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited, a much larger mutual life, pensions, and investment company. All Reliance Mutual policies are now serviced by Royal London, and the Reliance Mutual brand is no longer actively marketed.
