Information by Research TrustFinance
Originally developed by Goldman Sachs as REDIPlus, REDI (Real-time Execution and Display) was spun off in 2013 as REDI Global Technologies, a standalone financial technology company backed by a consortium of major financial firms. The company provided a market-leading Execution Management System (EMS) for institutional traders, offering cross-asset trading capabilities, advanced analytics, and a network of over 175 brokers. In 2017, REDI was acquired by Thomson Reuters, which later became Refinitiv. Following the London Stock Exchange Group's (LSEG) acquisition of Refinitiv in 2021, the platform is now known as Refinitiv REDI and is a key part of LSEG's trading solutions portfolio.
