Rari Capital was a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that built a set of DeFi products focused on maximizing yield. Its flagship product, Fuse, allowed users to create and participate in permissionless, isolated interest rate markets for any asset. The protocol's mission was to create an efficient and risk-agnostic yield aggregator. Following a major security exploit in April 2022 and a subsequent merger with Tribe DAO, the governing community voted in August 2022 to shut down the protocol, halt development, and distribute all remaining DAO assets to token holders and hack victims.
