Founded in 2014, Property Partner pioneered a stock-exchange-style model for residential property investment, making it accessible to a wider audience with investments starting from as little as £1. The platform allowed users to buy and sell shares in individual properties, earn monthly rental income, and benefit from any capital appreciation. In 2021, the company was acquired by the US digital homeownership company, Better. Following the acquisition, a strategic decision was made to wind down the Property Partner platform, and it officially closed to new and existing business in 2022, with all assets sold and funds returned to investors.
