The Professional Advisers Association (PAA) was a leading professional body in New Zealand dedicated to supporting mortgage, insurance, investment, and financial planning advisers. Its mission was to enhance the professionalism and standards of its members through advocacy, education, and networking opportunities. In 2018, the PAA merged with the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA) to create a new, unified professional body called Financial Advice New Zealand. This new entity continues the work of its predecessors, aiming to build trust and confidence in the financial advice sector by setting high standards of ethics and professional practice for its members.
