Praxia Bank was a Greek financial institution established in 2018 with backing from Atlas Merchant Capital. It officially received a full banking license from the European Central Bank (ECB) in 2019, positioning itself as Greece's first purely digital bank. The bank's mission was to address the funding gap for Greek SMEs and offer a modern, efficient banking experience for individuals through a digital-first model. Despite its ambitious launch, the bank was acquired by the Greek fintech company Viva Wallet in August 2020, which absorbed its banking license and assets to expand its own service offerings.
