Founded in 2000, Portware, LLC specialized in providing high-performance, multi-asset class execution management systems (EMS) for the buy-side financial community. Its flagship product, Portware Enterprise, was a fully customizable, broker-neutral platform that allowed institutional traders to analyze, manage, and execute complex trading strategies across equities, options, futures, and FX. In 2015, Portware was acquired by FactSet, a global provider of financial information and analytics. Portware's technology has since been integrated into FactSet's suite of trading solutions, now offered as the FactSet Execution Management System (EMS), continuing its mission to provide sophisticated, automated trading tools to institutional clients.
