Founded on December 11, 1935, by nine Omaha Police Officers, the Police Federal Credit Union of Omaha was established to provide a source of credit and a safe place for savings for the law enforcement community. As a member-owned financial institution, its mission is to offer competitive financial products and services, including savings and checking accounts, various types of loans (auto, mortgage, personal), and credit cards. Membership is exclusively for sworn and civilian employees (active and retired) of law enforcement agencies and their families within specific counties in Nebraska and Iowa.
