Plough & Share Credit Union is a financial co-operative that is owned and controlled by its members. It was formed in 2013 from the merger of three smaller Devon-based credit unions and later merged with Exeter & District Credit Union in 2017. The company's mission is to promote thrift by encouraging members to save and to provide access to affordable credit, serving as a community-focused alternative to traditional banks and high-cost lenders.
