The Phoenix Industrial Development Authority (Phoenix IDA) is a nonprofit organization chartered by the City of Phoenix in 1980. Its mission is to create opportunities for a better Phoenix by providing resources that support community and economic development. The primary way it achieves this is by serving as a conduit issuer of tax-exempt and taxable bonds for qualified projects, primarily in the areas of affordable housing, healthcare, education, and community facilities, thereby lowering the cost of financing for these vital community assets.
