People's Leasing & Finance PLC (PLC) is a prominent non-bank financial institution in Sri Lanka, incorporated in 1995 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the state-owned People's Bank. The company provides a comprehensive suite of financial solutions such as finance leasing, term loans, Islamic finance, savings accounts, and fixed deposits to a wide customer base of individuals and corporations. Following a strategic decision, People's Merchant Finance PLC was officially amalgamated into People's Leasing & Finance PLC effective August 31, 2023, which consolidated their operations and further solidified PLC's market leadership in the Sri Lankan financial sector.
