Payitlater was an Australian fintech company that operated in the Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) sector. It provided a payment platform for online and in-store merchants, enabling their customers to purchase goods and services immediately and pay for them over four equal, interest-free fortnightly installments. The service was designed to increase sales conversion and average order value for retailers. In March 2021, Payitlater was acquired by a larger BNPL provider, Openpay. However, the parent company, Openpay, entered receivership in February 2023 and ceased all trading operations, leading to the discontinuation of all its services, including Payitlater.
