Founded in 2021, OurPass initially launched as a one-click checkout solution for online businesses in Africa. It later expanded its services to include business banking tools for SMEs. However, in a strategic pivot announced in early 2024, OurPass discontinued its checkout and banking services to concentrate all its resources on its Stax product. Stax is a payment platform designed to help African businesses manage local and international payments, allowing them to easily send and receive money from anyone, anywhere.
