Launched in 2017 by the telecommunications group Orange S.A., Orange Bank was a digital-only bank aiming to provide modern, mobile-centric banking services to retail customers in France and Spain. Its offerings included current accounts, savings products, consumer loans, and payment cards integrated into a mobile application. In June 2023, Orange announced its strategic decision to withdraw from the banking market. The company is now actively managing the closure of its services, having partnered with BNP Paribas to facilitate the transition of its customers to Hello bank! in France and Cetelem in Spain.
