Opportunity Resource Fund is a U.S. Treasury certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) dedicated to fostering economic equity and strengthening communities in Michigan. Founded in 1985 as the Michigan Ecumenical Capital Acquisition Corporation (MECAC) and rebranded in 2004, the organization provides capital and support services to underserved small businesses and communities that cannot access financing from traditional lenders. Their mission is to create economic opportunities, build assets, and promote vibrant, sustainable communities through their lending programs.
