OpenFinance Network was founded as one of the first SEC and FINRA-regulated Alternative Trading Systems (ATS) dedicated to the trading of digital securities, also known as security tokens. The platform aimed to provide a compliant and liquid marketplace for alternative assets tokenized on a blockchain. In late 2020, INX Limited, a digital asset trading solutions company, acquired OpenFinance Network's key assets, including its broker-dealer and ATS. Following the acquisition, the platform and its operations were integrated into INX's ecosystem and rebranded as INX Securities, LLC, continuing the mission of providing a regulated venue for trading digital securities.
