Its primary mission is to provide clearing and settlement services for energy derivatives contracts traded on the OMIP Iberian Energy Derivatives Exchange. By acting as the central counterparty, OMIClear mitigates credit risk between trading participants, ensuring the financial integrity and stability of the Iberian energy market (MIBEL).
