Originally founded in 1957 as the John Day Valley Plywood Federal Credit Union, Old West Federal Credit Union has grown into a community-chartered financial institution. As a not-for-profit cooperative, it is owned by its members, and its mission is to return earnings to them through lower loan rates, higher dividends on deposits, and reduced fees. The credit union offers a full range of financial services, including personal and business banking, loans, and investment services, to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school within its designated service area.
