Founded in 1976, Old Plank Trail Community Bank (OPT) has a long history of serving communities in Will and southern Cook counties in Illinois. It established itself by focusing on personalized customer service and providing a full suite of financial products, including personal banking, business banking, and lending services. In May 2022, Old Plank Trail Community Bank merged with Town Center Bank and now operates as a division of Town Center Bank, which is part of the larger Wintrust Financial Corporation family of community banks. While retaining its brand identity at its physical branch locations, it operates under the charter of Town Center Bank.
