Founded in 2006, the NRW School of Governance is an interdisciplinary institute within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Its mission is to bridge the gap between political science and political practice by offering research-based teaching with high practical relevance. The school provides degree programs, such as the Master's in "Political Management, Public Policy and Public Administration," as well as executive education and professional training for individuals in politics, media, business, and civil society.
