NPV Manzanillo Power SRL is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) created by its sponsors, Haina Investment Co. (HIC) and Energía de las Américas, S.A. (ENERLA). The company's sole mission is to develop, construct, and operate the "Manzanillo Power Land" project, a 420 MW combined cycle natural gas power plant. Located in Manzanillo, Montecristi province, Dominican Republic, the project is a key initiative to enhance the country's energy grid stability and capacity using more efficient and environmentally cleaner technology compared to existing fuel oil plants.
