Its primary mission was to conduct growth equity investments in unlisted Nordic companies, serving as an active minority shareholder to foster their growth, profitability, and international expansion. In a significant strategic move in 2017, Norvestia was acquired by CapMan Plc, a leading Nordic private assets manager. Following the acquisition, Norvestia was delisted, and its operations, team, and portfolio were fully integrated into CapMan's Growth business area. The legacy Norvestia website remains online for informational purposes but directs all inquiries to CapMan.
