NewWest Community Capital is a mission-driven, non-profit financial institution dedicated to fostering vibrant, healthy, and equitable communities. It was formed in 2021 through the merger of two long-standing CDFIs: Montana & Idaho Community Development Corporation (founded in 1994) and Colorado Community Capital (founded in 2002). As a certified CDFI by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, NewWest provides innovative and flexible financing to projects in underserved areas, focusing on affordable housing development, small business growth, and essential community facilities that may not qualify for traditional bank loans.
