Founded in 1989, the New England Economic Development Corporation (NEEDC) is a private, non-profit Certified Development Company (CDC). Its primary mission is to foster economic growth and create or retain jobs throughout New England. In partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and local lending institutions, NEEDC administers the SBA 504 Loan Program, which provides long-term, fixed-rate financing for major fixed assets, such as real estate and equipment, to small and medium-sized businesses.
