Founded in June 1994, Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NB Bank) was established as a joint venture with IFIC Bank of Bangladesh. It operated as a Class 'A' commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, offering a comprehensive suite of banking products, including consumer and corporate banking, deposits, loans, trade finance, and treasury services. In a landmark deal for Nepal's banking sector, NB Bank was acquired by Nabil Bank Limited, with joint operations commencing on July 11, 2022.
