Founded in 1968, NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania is a non-profit community development organization and a chartered member of the national NeighborWorks America network. The organization's mission is to promote stable, vibrant communities by providing education and guidance to individuals, and by creating and preserving affordable housing opportunities. Their services include homebuyer education, financial coaching, foreclosure prevention counseling, and the development of affordable rental and for-sale homes.
