Founded in 1982, the Nebraska Economic Development Corporation (NEDCO) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering economic growth by supporting small businesses throughout Nebraska. As a Certified Development Company (CDC) and a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), its primary mission is to provide access to capital through the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 504 loan program. This program helps healthy, growing businesses finance the purchase of commercial real estate, equipment, and other fixed assets, thereby creating and retaining jobs within the state.
