Incorporated in 2006, National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX). As a Central Counterparty (CCP), NCCL's primary role is to provide robust clearing and settlement services, manage counterparty risk, and ensure the financial integrity of trades executed on the NCDEX. It was the first clearing corporation for commodity derivatives in India to be recognized as a 'Third Country CCP' by the European Securities and Market Authority (ESMA) and also the first to be recognized as a Deemed Clearing Organization by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
