My Big Coin
Information by Research Trustfinance
My Big Coin Pay, Inc., operated from approximately 2014 to 2017. The company fraudulently marketed and sold a virtual currency named "My Big Coin" or "MBC" by making numerous false and misleading claims to solicit customers. These claims included that the coins were a fully functioning cryptocurrency, were backed by $300 million in gold, and that the company had a partnership with MasterCard. In reality, the coins had no value, were not backed by gold, and the company was a fraudulent scheme created by its principals to misappropriate investor funds for personal use. The operation was shut down by U.S. regulators.
