Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) is the principal stock market of Oman, established to regulate and develop the country's capital market. Originally founded as the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) in 1988, it was restructured and rebranded in April 2021, transforming into a closed joint-stock company (S.A.O.C) under the ownership of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA). The exchange's mission is to provide a transparent and efficient marketplace for listing and trading stocks, bonds, and other financial instruments, thereby supporting economic growth and investment within the Sultanate of Oman.
