Maura, formed with the intention of executing a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, or similar business combination. The company raised $345 million in its initial public offering in October 2017. After evaluating several potential targets, Mosaic Acquisition Corp. successfully completed its business combination with Vivint Smart Home, a leading smart home company in North America, in January 2020. Following the merger, the company was renamed Vivint Smart Home, Inc. and began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "VVNT".
