MoneyPot
Information by Research Trustfinance
MoneyPot was a popular Bitcoin web wallet that operated primarily between 2014 and 2017. Its mission was to provide a simple, instant, and free way to send and receive Bitcoin directly within a web browser, eliminating the need for complex software. It gained significant traction in the online gaming and live-streaming (e.g., Twitch) communities for its "tipping" or "make it rain" feature, which allowed users to easily distribute small amounts of Bitcoin to others in chat rooms. The platform ceased operations in April 2017 after its founder announced they could no longer maintain the project.
